About Seltún í Krýsuvík
„Háhitasvæðið við Seltún er fallegt brennisteins-og leirhverasvæði í Krýsuvíkurlandi. Þar stunduðu Krýsuvíkurbændur og útlendir athafnamenn brennisteinsvinnslu á nokkrum tímaskeiðum. Árið 1999 sprakk 50 ára gömul borhola með þeim afleiðingum að leir þeyttist langt upp í hlíðina. Eftir sprenginguna myndaðist tjörn sem er umlukin litskrúðugum jarðvegi í fögru umhverfi.“
