Við Hvítanes eru miklar líkur á að sjá seli og liggja þeir þar töluvert nálægt landi. Staðurinn er í alfaraleið og hægt að leggja á bílastæði við Hvítanes. Ábúendur hafa komið fyrir borði og bekkjum og kíki til að skoða selina (1). Sjónaukarnir eru í plastkassa á bílastæðinu og er fólki frjálst að nota þá. Athuga skal að bílastæðið er „hinum megin“ við þjóðveginn, þannig að til að skoða selina þarf að fara yfir hann (2).
