Heimaklettur

The route up Heimaklettur is short but steep and includes exposed sections, fixed ropes, chains and ladders. It is not suitable for everyone, especially in strong wind or poor conditions. Hikers should use the recognised route, wear suitable footwear and turn back if conditions feel unsafe.
