About Héðinshöfði
Á Héðinshöfða bjó „þingskörungurinn Benedikt Sveinsson sýslumaður (1826–99) um tvo tugi ára og ólst sonur hans, Einar skáld, þar upp. Minnisvarði um skáldið, eftir Ríkarð Jónsson, er við þjóðveginn. Gamla húsið, frá 1880, er eitt af fáum steinhlöðnum húsum frá 19. öld og hefur lítið breyst að innan.“
