Friðheimar is a unique geothermally heated greenhouse farm near Reykholt that grows tomatoes year-round using Iceland's natural hot water. The farm restaurant inside the greenhouse serves excellent homemade tomato soup, bruschetta and tomato-based dishes, all made from produce grown just metres from your table. The novelty of dining among rows of tomato plants illuminated by grow lights in the middle of winter makes Friðheimar a beloved Golden Circle stop. Reservations are strongly recommended.
