📖 Story

Most visitors photograph Goðafoss from the western parking area, but crossing the bridge reveals the eastern perspective. From here you can descend close to the water level and feel the spray. The view is different — looking across at the main cascade instead of down on it. Both sides are worth visiting for complete appreciation of this historic waterfall.
