📖 Story
GeoSea opened in 2018 as North Iceland's clifftop geothermal spa. Unlike most Icelandic hot springs, GeoSea uses geothermally-heated seawater — the pools are filled with seawater warmed by underground heat. Infinity pools perch on cliffs overlooking Skjálfandi bay where whales swim. In summer: soak under midnight sun. In winter: watch Northern lights dance above the Arctic Ocean. The saltwater gives skin a different feel than freshwater pools. It's spectacularly located and uniquely marine-focused.
✈️ Why Visit
Soak in warm geothermal seawater pools on ocean cliffs — midnight sun in summer, Northern lights in winter, whales swimming offshore.
