„Mjög víðsýnt er af Geitafelli (432 m.). Hringsjá er á fjallinu. Auðvelt er að ganga á Geitafell, er þá ýmist farið upp hjá Laxárvirkjun og fylgt gamalli vegslóð norðan Geitafells upp á fjallið. Einnig er hægt að ganga frá Kísilvegi (nr. 87) upp gamla vegslóð skammt fyrir norðan bæinn Geitafell.“
