Eldhestar ('Fire Horses') has been breeding and training Icelandic horses for decades. The farm is known for its friendly, well-trained horses and experienced guides. Icelandic horses are unique — they have five gaits (including the famous 'tölt') and are descended from horses brought to Iceland by the Vikings over 1,000 years ago.
