From the saga: "Hann fékk Þrándi á Þrándarstöðum, Eilífi í Eilífsdal, Hækingi í Hækingsdal, Tind á Tindsstöðum og þar hverjum sem honum þótti fallið vera. (2) Hann fékk þeirrar konu er Þorgerður hét, dóttur Eilífs úr Eilífsdal. (11) Í því bili kom til Eilífur bóndi úr Eilífsdal við hinn sétta mann og gekk á millum þeirra."
