Explore the stunning Þórsmörk Valley on this guided adventure from Reykjavík.

Experience Þórsmörk unique landscape, known for its beauty and popular walking trails. To get to Þórsmörk it's necesery to cross a glacier river. An unforgettable journey through Iceland’s culture, nature, and wildlife. Visit Gígjökull and hike to the edge of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier for breathtaking views.

Tour highlights:

Seljalandsfoss: Where you can walk behind a waterfall.
Þórsmörk: Nestled between three glaciers.
Stakkholtsgjá: Canyon with steep, moss-covered cliffs leads visitors towards a secluded waterfall.

Please note, highland roads are closed from October 15 to May 1. During this period, we offer an alternative itinerary to ensure you still experience other wonderful spots of Iceland’s landscapes.

Tour Details

Availability: May 1 to October 15.
Morning Departure: Pick-up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Reykjavík or within 30 km of the capital.
Lunch: There will be a stop around noon where you can purchase lunch.
Guide: Local and English-speaking guide.
Distance: 320 km.
Duration: 9-10 hours.
