Since that donation, members of Ungmennafélagið Baldur have diligently worked to cultivate and enhance Einbúi, Oddgeirshólar. Their efforts have included constructing platforms for various activities and planting vital windbreaks to protect the area, gradually shaping it into the beautiful sports and outdoor recreation site it is today. This ongoing dedication highlights the deep connection between the Icelandic people and their land, fostering a place where both nature and community thrive.

Einbúi at Oddgeirshólar is a local landscape and recreation site rather than a major geological attraction. In 1931 the area was donated to the youth association Baldur, and it has since been used and maintained for community and outdoor activities.
