Why Iceland?
Every landscape on one island
Glaciers, volcanoes, lava fields, black beaches and waterfalls — all within driving distance. No other country offers this range.
25% Film Tax Rebate
Iceland's generous rebate on qualifying production costs has attracted billions in Hollywood investment since the early 2000s.
Extraordinary light
Midnight sun, polar twilight and dramatic storm fronts create cinematography that is impossible to replicate anywhere else on Earth.
Iceland's professional film crews, established rental infrastructure and combination of financial incentives with unmatched natural scenery have made it one of the world's premier filming destinations for over four decades — from Bond's 1985 iceberg sequence to the Dune sequel shortlist today.
