Á Snæfellsnesi eru nokkrar kolsýrulaugar eða „ölkeldur“. Ölkelda er lind með köldu vatni sem ólgar af kolsýru sem kemur upp með grunnvatninu. Kolsýrulaugin sem hér um ræðir er við ósa Bólalækjar í Eyja- og Miklaholtshreppi.
