アイスランドでのキャンプの基本
キャンプはアイスランドをゆっくり巡る魅力的な方法ですが、一日の終わりに適当な場所を探すのではなく、実在するキャンプ場を基準にルートを計画しましょう。キャンプ場は立地、風よけ、設備、営業期間、アクセスが大きく異なります。天候や道路状況の変化にも対応できる柔軟さが大切です。
指定キャンプ場や法律で認められた場所で宿泊してください。景色のよい路肩、観光地の駐車場、私有地はキャンピングカーで旅行していても自動的に宿泊可能になるわけではありません。高地などの遠隔地では道路状況とキャンプ場の営業状況を両方確認しましょう。
Recommended Campsites in South Iceland

Highland Campsites for 4x4 Trips
Highland campsites are a different category of travel: access is seasonal, services are limited and road conditions matter as much as the campsite itself. These should only be used when the route and vehicle are appropriate.
Hveravellir Campsite
A classic Kjölur-route campsite beside geothermal landscapes between Langjökull and Hofsjökull.
Hvítárnes Campsite
A remote lakeside option with Langjökull views, suited to travellers already undertaking a proper Highland route.
Landmannalaugar Campsite
One of Iceland's most famous Highland camping bases, surrounded by rhyolite mountains, hiking routes and geothermal scenery.
テント・キャンピングバン・大型キャンピングカー
テントは手軽で経済的ですが、風雨にさらされます。キャンピングバンは屋根があり柔軟に移動できますが、横風に弱く、合法的に泊まれる場所を計画する必要があります。大型車では駐車、方向転換、道路の選択にも慎重さが必要です。車の種類が変わっても宿泊場所のルールは変わりません。
天候が計画の最大の制約
風の強まりによって快適なキャンプ場でも急に過ごしにくくなることがあります。予報と警報を確認し、必要に応じて風を避けられる場所を選び、日中の気温より寒い夜に耐えられる寝具を持参しましょう。開けたキャンプ場一か所に頼らず、別の宿泊候補も準備してください。
高地でのキャンプ
高地は通常のリングロード沿いより遠隔地で天候の影響を受けます。Fロードは季節により開通状況が変わり、燃料やサービスが限られ、適切な車両が必要です。キャンプ場が営業していても到達可能とは限りません。道路、アクセス、河川の状況を個別に確認してください。
キャンプ場が営業中でも道路が安全とは限らない
キャンプ場が開いていても、予定したルートが車両や当日の条件に適さない場合があります。高地や遠隔地へ向かう前に公式の道路情報と天気予報を確認しましょう。
アイスランドのキャンプの持ち物
防風防雨対策、暖かい衣服、信頼できる寝具、充電用品、オフライン地図、遠隔地用の食料と水に優先順位を置きましょう。夏でも寒い夜や強風はあります。テントなら理想的な天気だけでなく、風の強い露営地を想定して設営用品を準備してください。
よい宿泊拠点を中心にルートを組む
毎晩キャンプ場を変える必要はありません。同じ場所に二泊すると移動時間を減らせて、天気の変化に合わせやすくなります。観光地が集まる地域のキャンプ場を拠点に日帰りで巡り、毎日長距離移動するのは避けましょう。
