📖 Historia
Húsafell has been a summer retreat for centuries, with rich birch forests (rare in Iceland) and natural hot springs. The area is associated with Skallagrímur Kveldúlfsson, father of the famous poet Egill Skallagrímsson. Today, it's a hub for adventure tourism, offering access to Langjökull glacier, Víðgelmir lava cave, and Hraunfossar waterfalls.
